December 2011 Newsletter
MCHA Newsletter
With this newsletter, I am closing out my two year term as the MCHA President and it has to be said that although it did not always go smoothly, it always went forward toward growth and reward. It has been a great honor to work with this association and its many members—THANK YOU. That being said it gives me great pleasure to hand off the reins to two great guys: Will Nuttall—President and Tom Campbell—Vice President. Not only are these two individuals highly respected and extremely talented, but they have proven countless times these past two years what true leaders they are. Along with the addition of the following directors: Gayle Weber, Michelle VanDyke, Theresa Nelson and Tim Stryker and Youth Directors, Macall Banner and Kellee Hersrud, to the already in place directors: Audrey O’Keefe, Gene Morris and John L Dublin our Association has a very strong, experienced and balanced board for 2012. I would also like to thank the outgoing members of our board whom have done a terrific job in leading and guiding this association the last two years: Suzanne Nellen, Cody Lee, Bambi Gress and youth director MacKenzie Banner—thank you guys for a job well done.
Congratulations go out to the following MCHA members for ending the 2011 year with “Top 15 World Finalist” honors: 10,000 Novice Horse 11th -Tom Campbell aboard Judy Littke’s PT Smart, 5,000 Novice Non Pro 12th – Jaelyn Sleeman and This Isa Stray Cat, and 15,000 Amateur 11th – Gayle Weber and Simply Be Smart. Making the Top 15 is indeed a major accomplishment, and the invested time and efforts are much admired. MCHA is very proud to extend a well deserved Congratulation on a job well done!!
Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and May all of us have a blessed and joyous Holiday season.
