About MCHA

The purpose of the Montana Cutting Horse Association is to encourage interest in cutting horses and to promote cutting horse contests in the State of Montana. We encourage the development of, and public interest in, better horses and the ever-increasing popularity of the true cutting horse.

We approve cutting horse contests wherever such a contest shall be in the public interest and assist the producers and managers of any contest in organizing and running the event. We maintain a high standard of sportsmanship in our competitions and offer year-end awards in every class that is appropriate.

Membership costs are $50 adult and $10 for a youth.
