>Proof of NCHA membership and a copy of each horse's registration papers must be presented to the show secretary at the time of entry. Show secretaries may levy a fine of $5.00 for each violation. The required documentation can be as simple as a photo copy of your membership card overlaid on the horse's papers. 
>Both horse owner and rider must be MCHA members before showing in order for earnings to count toward year-end awards.

The start of the show season will be upon us soon. Just a reminder to all members and producers regarding checks being returned due to insufficient funds. Any contestant whose check is returned after being presented twice shall be on a cash basis for all MCHA shows for the remainder of the show season. Any show producer who issues checks to contestants or vendors, and whose check is returned after being presented twice for payment may not be approved for future MCHA shows. Such approval will be at the sole discretion of the MCHA Board. This was approved at the January 21, 2006 MCHA Director's meeting.
